Electricity lies as a top priority area in the development of shivamogga.Public transport which uses biofuels and is eco-friendly must be run.
As power-shortage is a common problem its good if we rely on solar energy.Blending diesel and petrol with biofuels helps in a low-cost transport.
Solar power plant,photovoltaic power plant,solar-powered street lights and solar photovoltaic panels installed on government offices,bus-stop and railway station.
because open sites have become toilets for the passers-by and shopkeepers residing next to these sites.
* A smart city should certainly have a swimming pool, a digital library and an amusement park. Setting up of indoor games stadiums in two or three more areas will certainly benefit the children.
I want to conclude my thoughts by adding few more words that ' smart city will be greatest gift for the Next generation and they will certainly maintain, preserve and be proud for the country. Today
there should be no garbage around. The corporation has to pass a rule that every owner has to fence their sites until they go for construction and also clean them once in a month.
* South India is blessed with ample of sunlight and to make it a rule that every institutions, hospitals, showrooms, offices to opt for solar energy which gives the city a smart look even at night.
* In order to maintain hygiene, the city should set up first the public toilets in every area and clean drinking water
